Local Churches

Local churches are the primary beacons of God's love and hope to each neighborhood. As church members build loving relationships with one another, the power of the gospel is shown, and as churches build loving relationships with non-Christians, God builds his family. Many times, however, certain groups in the world can be overlooked or deemed "too difficult" to pursue. Because we take Christ's call to all people seriously, we long to see the church truly pursuing all. We want to see churches intentionally praying for their gang neighbors, learning how to best reach them, and cultivating a heart that leads toward loving action. We come alongside churches to support and encourage them in this call.
Loving Gang Neighbors
Beyond merely learning about gang culture, we desire to see churches extending Christ's gospel to gang members in the power of the Holy Spirit as they build personal relationships. We hope to help churches effectively minister and love gang neighbors in their immediate contexts. Whether it's opening up the church campus for car washes, going to local parks to meet people, or discipling someone coming out of that lifestyle, loving gang neighbors can take on different opportunities that churches should be ready and willing to engage with. In light of this, we are committed to partnering with churches via training and contextualized support as together we trust God for gospel impact and transformation.
